Teacher and author, I am both. I teach because there are joy, suspense, and excitement in the journey. I write so those adventures will last forever.
I grew up in a small town and have been known as a bookworm for most of my life. From the love of reading, I found the art of writing. My talent had been noticed by my teacher when I was in grade 5. Since then, he loved asking me to read my stories for my classmates. Years later, in high school, my first feature story about the dengue fever epidemic in my hometown was published in the local magazine. My life path has changed since then.
For eleven years, I have dedicated my life to education and storytelling. I studied journalism and global leadership in Madison, Wisconsin, in the United States and worked there for a year as an environmental journalist at WNR magazine. I was a contributor of Jakarta Post at the same time. Until now, I have been teaching languages in various institutions such as Hope Education Consultancy, Universal School, Tunas Bangsa High School, Santo Yoseph Elementary School, Sekolah Genius, LSM Anti Korupsi (Universitas Indonesia) and Saint Moritz Apartment (Business English) I have taught a wide range of students: from kids, teenagers, university students to professionals in various fields: journalist, actress, designer, marketer, director, programmer, etc. I have published eleven books and hundreds of features as well.
I’d love to talk with both parents and educators and provide resources to help you in dealing with your kids’ problems. I do believe it takes a village to raise a child and I’d be glad to help you in the journey.
