Children Poem: The Most Difficult Homework

My teacher gives me the most difficult homework
She puts it in an envelope
as if it’s a secret code
It has lots of words in each row
It has five numbers to circle
It asks me to agree or disagree
for the questions I couldn’t understand
My teacher gives me the most difficult homework
I’ve tried my best to figure it out
But once it’s submitted, she laughs out loud
“Sweetheart, it’s a questionnaire for your parents!”
Note: Inspired by my classroom story. Aren’t children funny?
